Catherine took an introductory encaustic workshop from me 5 years ago. She returned to San Miguel for a couple of weeks and asked for private classes. We had 2 days filled with encaustic adventures and lots of practice using the torch.

Private encaustic class

Hannah had taken the introductory class and decided that she would like private classes. We spent the last two days, advancing her experience of the torch, layering and the hot pen. She left with 2 lovely paintings, that I forgot to photograph from the first day, but today, I got a couple of shots of her working on her homage to Miró.
