Victor came to from San Antonio to San Miguel for a long,  private class, in advanced encaustic techniques. He is an interesting artist and his most famous client is Barack Obama.

Encaustic is a new way of artistic expression for Victor and I am sure he will be creating some interesting work.

Another delightful intro workshop.Once again. everyone traveled their encaustic journey differently.  It is always special to invite people into my studio to experience encaustic for the first time. Sometimes the shared energy creates even more creativity. We all had fun.

I enjoyed the private workshop today with Shannon, a professional figurative artist. She was able to add a few more techniques to her encaustic practice.

We just finished the two day advanced encaustic workshop. I showed so many different techniques, and everyone wanted to try something new and did.

Another delightful group of people finished the intro to encaustic today. Most say that they want to continue experiencing painting with encaustic.

John Pie from Canada and I enjoyed an all day intensive encaustic class. Now he is another person bitten with the encaustic bug. I look forward to seeing what he will be creating in his home studio.
